1.Introduction

ChatPlus is a service which reduce the labor for customer support and increase inquiries and sales.
ChatPlus has a cutting-edge marketing technology.
Are you anxious about technology? You do not have to worry about that with us!
Anyone can easily start using ChatPlus by simply copying the code provided and pasting it on the homepage.
Good things are simple. Let's start the setting!
2.Install the chat on homepage
Please find here how to edit the source of your homepage and install ChatPlus.
For those who already installed the chat by reading [ChatPlus free trial guide], please proceed to
2-1.The easiest way to install the chat
(1) Enter https://app.chatplus.jp/login in the address bar and open ChatPlus login screen.
(2) After entering email address and password, click [Login].
(3) After logging in, click the setting button on the upper right of the management page.
(4) Copy the code displayed in the section [Chat window].
※The code can be checked in [General]>[Chat window] on the left side of the screen.
(5) Apart from the management page opened in (1)~(4), open a new browse and open the source edit screen of the homepage from the management screen of the homepage on which you want to install ChatPlus.
※Source : a program text containing information about the homepage display.
(6) Search </body> on the homepage source edit screen.
(7) Once </body> found, paste the code you copied in (4).

(8) Save the source edited in (7).
2-2.How to update the homepage
Please find in this section how to generally update the homepage.
FFFTP
(1) Activate FFFTP on your computer.
(2) The connection destination will be displayed. Click the destination, and [Connect].
(3) If the connection succeed, a list of files of the homepage will be displayed. Edit the source of the page you want to install the chat and insert the tag. (Refer to 1-1 procedure)
(4) Click [Upload] while selecting the edited chosen file.
(5) Check if the date of the file you uploaded (4) has been updated.
WordPress
(1) Login to WordPress.
(2) Click [Appearance]>[Theme Editor] on the left side of the screen.
(3) [Theme Editor] screen will be displayed.
(4) Click [Template]>[Theme footer] on the right side of the screen.
(5) Paste the code you copied in [Procedure 1-1. (4)] before </body>.
3.Set lead
By installing ChatPlus, you can display a screen to get the lead (information such as website visitor's email address). Please find here how to display this screen and how to change the design.
※If you do not want to display the lead screen, you do not need to do the settings here.
Display example)
3-1.Set design・information you want to acquire
(1) Enter https://app.chatplus.jp/login in the address bar and open ChatPlus login screen.
(2) After entering email address and password, click [Login].
(3) After logging in, click the setting button on the upper right of the management page.
(4) Click [Lead]>[Design] on the left side of the screen.
(5) Change colors if you need to and check [] in [Option].
*Email address can be acquired by default, so no need to check for that matter.
(6) Click [Update].
3-2.Set activation process
(1) Click [Lead]>[Activation process] on the left side of the screen.
(2) Click [Add an auto activation] in [Automatic activation].
(3) The screen to add display rules will appear. From the pull down of [Display rule], click [Time elapsed after displaying the site].
*[Time elapsed after displaying the site] is the elapsed time after the user first visited the homepage,
[Time elapsed after displaying the page] is the elapsed time after the user first displayed the page.
(4) [After displaying the site 〇 seconds elapsed.] will appear below. Enter [30] in the empty field.
(5) Click [Save].
(6) You will automatically go back to (2). Please do as follows:
1.confirm if the set rule in (5) from [Activation process]>[Display rule] has been added
2.confirm [ON] on the right of the rule is set
(You can switch [ON/OFF] besides every rule)
(7) Click [Update].
4.Change the design of the chat
You can change the design of the chat screen. Please find here how to do it.
(1) Enter https://app.chatplus.jp/login in the address bar and open ChatPlus login screen.
(2) After entering email address and password, click [Login].
(3) After logging in, click the setting button on the upper right of the management page.
(4) Click [Chat]>[Design]>[Template] on the left side of the screen.
(5) From the pull down of [Theme], click the theme you want to use.
(6) Click parts in the red boxes and choose color for each section from the color chart.
(7) Click [Update].
5.Use ticket function
For support that doesn't stop with the chat, if you do the follow up with emails and calls, it would increase the customer satisfaction even more. Please find here how to set email address to use ticket function.
(1) Enter https://app.chatplus.jp/login in the address bar and open ChatPlus login screen.
(2) After entering email address and password, click [Login].
(3) After logging in, click the setting button on the upper right of the management page.
(4) Click [General]>[Email] on the left side of the screen.
(5) Enter content in each empty field.
(6) Click [Update].
6.Settings of chat reception time (Business hours)
You can set the reception time to reply the chat. Please find here how to set it.
・Do not receive chat on weekends and holidays
・Set the chat reception time for 9:00~12:00, 13:00~18:00 (12:00~13:00 is lunch break)
(1) Enter https://app.chatplus.jp/login in the address bar and open ChatPlus login screen.
(2) After entering email address and password, click [Login].
(3) After logging in, click the setting button on the upper right of the management page.
(4) Click [Agents] on the left side of the screen.
(5) The screen [Agents] will be displayed. Click [Edit] on the right of the agent for which you want to set the reception time.
(6) The screen [Edit] will be displayed.
(7) Click [Edit the reception time] button at the bottom of the profile page. Leave [Public holidays] boxes blank on the right of Mon-Fri, and check those on the right of Sat-Sun, then check the box [Do not receive chats on public holidays].
(8) Drag and drop the bar's 〇 on the right of Mon-Fri, and set the time for [9:00-12:00].
(9) Click [+] beside the bar set in (8), and check if the new bar is displayed underneath each bar.
(10) Drag and drop the new bar's 〇 shown in (9) and set the time for [13:00-18:00].
(11) Click [Update].
7.Automatically chat with site visitors
With ChatPlus, you can automatically chat with site visitors with a message you set previously.
・Send out [Thank you for visiting. Do you have any questions?] 20 seconds after displaying the page.
・Set options like [I want to know the business hours] and [Chat with an agent]
・Automatically respond [Our business hours are 9:00-18:00 from Monday to Friday.] when the user asked [I want to know the business hours].
(1) Enter https://app.chatplus.jp/login in the address bar and open ChatPlus login screen.
(2) After entering email address and password, click [Login].
(3) After logging in, click the setting button on the upper right of the management page.
(4) Click [Chat]>[Functions]>[Chatbot] on the left side of the screen.
(5) Click [+Add an auto reply] in [Auto reply settings].
(6) [Add an auto reply] screen will display. Enter [Thank you for visiting. Do you have any questions?] in the field [Chatbot remark].
(7) Check [Add a choice] box and click [Add a choice] button.
(8) In the 1st and 2nd choice added in (7), enter [I want to know the business hours] and [Chat with an agent] in each box.
(9) In the section [Display rule], click [Time elapsed after displaying the page] from the pull down.
(10) [When ○ seconds elapsed after somebody visit your page.] will appear under the pull down you clicked in (9). Enter [20] in the empty field.
(11) Click [Save], then
1.check if the rule you set is added under [Automatic response setting]
2.check if [ON] is set on the right side of the rule
(12) Click [+Add an auto reply] in [Auto reply settings].
(13) [Add an auto reply] screen will display. Enter [Our business hours are 9:00-18:00 from Monday to Friday.] in the field [Chatbot remark].
(14) In the section [Display rule], click [Match with the visitor's remark] from the pull down.
(15) [Match with 〇] will display under the pull down in (14). Enter [I want to know the business hours].
(16) Click [Save], then
1.check if the rule you set is added under [Automatic response setting]
2.check if [ON] is set on the right side of the rule
8.Install notification app
By installing notification app, you can get notifications on your device when a chat starts or when a visitor comes. You will also be able to check the chat when you are outside, so it is very useful. Please find here how to download it.
(1) Enter https://app.chatplus.jp/login in the address bar and open ChatPlus login screen.
(2) After entering email address and password, click [Login].
(3) After logging in, click the setting button on the upper right of the management page.
(4) Click [Notification app] on the left side of the screen.
(5) Click the environment you use on the right side of the screen. The download will start.
